Microsorum pteropus ‘Green Gnome’

Microsorum pteropus ‘Green Gnome’ is a rare, miniature cultivar of Java Fern that remains much smaller and more compact than the standard species. It features short, stiff, vibrant green leaves that grow in a dense, bushy habit, making it perfect for nano tanks or detailing the foreground/midground. Like all Java Ferns, it is an epiphyte that should be attached to wood or rocks; burying the rhizome in the substrate will cause it to rot. It is extremely hardy and slow-growing, thriving in low to medium light without the strict need for CO2​ injection.
