Master Soil Next is a premium Japanese active substrate specifically engineered for planted freshwater aquariums and ornamental shrimp breeding. It is manufactured using advanced multi-stage heat sintering, resulting in a highly porous, nutrient-rich granule that maintains its shape over time.

Key Features

Water Parameter Regulation: Naturally lowers and stabilizes pH, GH, and KH levels to create a soft, slightly acidic environment ideal for most aquatic plants and tropical fish.

High Porosity: The sintered structure prevents anaerobic zones and promotes the rapid colonization of beneficial nitrifying bacteria.

Superior Water Clarity: Effectively absorbs tannins and impurities, leading to "shining" or crystal-clear water shortly after setup.

Low Ammonia Release: Unlike many active soils, Master Soil Next is designed to release minimal ammonia during the initial cycling phase, allowing for a safer and faster introduction of livestock.

Nutrient Rich: Contains essential minerals along with humic and fulvic acids to support vigorous root development and long-term plant

No Rinsing Required: Do not wash the soil before use. Place it directly into a dry aquarium.

Filling: Pour water slowly and gently (using a plate or plastic wrap to break the flow) to avoid disturbing the substrate and causing cloudiness.

Depth: A typical fill height of 4–8 cm is recommended depending on your aquascape layout.

No Additional Bedding: Due to its high nutrient content, it does not require a separate base layer or power sand for most setups.
